Subject: Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a devastating mental illness, and is probably the most distressing and disabling of the severe mental disorders. The first signs of schizophrenia typically emerge in adolescence or young adulthood. The effects of the illness are confusing and often shocking to families and friends. I happen to know someone who battles with Schizophrenia. One of the saddest things is that he has an amazing relationship with a girl and she gets the short end of the stick. But yet at the same time she is remarkably understanding. She is patient enough to remain with him, and I personaly believe its truly a beautiful thing.
Now what are your oppinions?

I think she's a wonderful person for being so understanding. I hope medical and psychiatric science can help cure him from this debilitating mental illness.
