Subject: Happy Valentine's Day, ladies!

Written By: Crazy Don on 02/14/03 at 05:35 a.m.

It's now Valentine's Day and I want to wish the ladies of this board a Happy Valentine's Day.  (As a guy, I don't swing that way, so you guys on the board don't get anything from me.  Maybe one of the ladies will make you her valentine.)

So, here's my roll call of the ladies:

Zella:  Her wit and wisdom make her the queen of the messageboard.

:-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Banasy:  She's naughty and has a wicked sense of humor.  Don't know why she's still mad at me, but I love her too…

:-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

XenaKat13:  The only single person on this main list, but she's a mother.  Knew the difference between helmet and anteater while being discreet, that's why I love her.  But I'm not too crazy for New England girls, but still…

:-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

80s cheerleader:  Is a caring lady, and if she weren't married, I'd make her mine.  I have a thing for cheerleaders, since I knew a cheerleader in school in the 1970's and my niece was a cheerleader in the 1990's, and I watched football highlights of her school, watching the cheerleaders, just to see her.

:-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

And to the other nice ladies of the board:

dagwood:  Big, beautiful women need love too, and to our favorite big, beautiful woman…

:-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

CeramicsFanatic:  Apparently stopped using her creations as avatars (because either they were too slow to load or never came up at all), creator of the "A to Z" quizzes she posts at maddening times (She ought to know that I stopped listening to current music around 1986, but missed out on 1984 and 1985 because the only one I knew on each were already taken by the time I got there; she may be lucky if her 1987-on quizzes elicit responses from me!) and inspired my 1960-69 "A to Z" quizzes (1966-69 yet to come; had to revamp 1968 ) but I still love her!

:-* :-* :-* :-*

And to her pal Shannon (formerly IslandGirl): :-* :-* :-* :-*

TripsMom:  Probably the best-looking woman who has ever borne triplets; she's a wonderful lady!

:-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

MissInformation:  Very smart girl, but I wonder why she wants to live her life as a spinster?  Beats me!

:-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Shazzah:  Why do I think of Dorothy? :-* :-* :-* :-*

Princess of Pop:  :-* :-* :-* :-*

CatwomanofVenus:  :-* :-* :-* :-*

Q. Aviator:  :-* :-* :-* :-*

Squirrel:  She originally used a chipmunk as her avatar, but really, a chipmunk is technically a ground squirrel, so she finally found her a squirrel:  :-* :-* :-* :-*

langdon_hughes:  She should be "Mystery Woman" since I know less about her than you-know who!  Another woman with a wicked sense of humor…

:-* :-* :-* :-*

Some sisters:

Jessica/Alicia:  I like Jessica, but her little sister Alicia, the Marilyn Monroe freak, leaves something to be desired.  But I love them both… :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

southernspitfire/goldie:  I like both of these southern belles, but neither is really my cup of tea.  Anyway…  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

QueenAmenRa/MystiCofSingcratia/Wombert/CrazyRacoonGurl:  Like to be in the older sister's stories, but most of these girls are too young for me…  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Awesome Aussies:

HolyDooley:  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
BrianMannixGirl:  :-* :-* :-* (mainly because I don't hear from her much)
Gecko:  :-* (I don't know you that well)
WipeoutGirl:  :-*  (ditto)

Brit Birds:

Criz:  :-* :-* :-*
Gis:  :-* :-* :-*

Canadian Cuties (with the exception of one; I didn't leave you out, you know who you are!):

Syanne:  :-* :-*

If I left any of you ladies out, you get:  :-* :-*

Special Honorable Mention:

Marian:  :-* :-* :-* :-*

Probably the only other person besides me on this board who regularly posts to the Oldies Music Message Board (unless Doo Wop Daddy, a recent member of this board, is also the Doo Wop Daddy who posts to the Oldies Music Message Board!)

Honorable Mention:

Hairspray:  Because the owner of the screen name won't reveal gender, we believe Hairspray is female.  And if she is… :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*  And if he isn't:  0 (remember, I don't swing that way)

Nztufsz Xpnbo  (Ebsmb):  Name is hidden but can be easily figured out.  The one female we all miss.  Here's to you, baby!  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Happy Valentine's Day, everybody!  (If you guys want a kiss, hope one of the ladies will give you one!  You'll not get one from me, that's for sure!)

Thanks for the mention, Don.  :)

Just to let you know, I did not change my avatar because of loading problems... I changed it because I did not have any new pics of my work.  Plus, I am very fond of Armand Assante!  ;D

It sounds like you're still bitter regarding the times when I post my lyrics quizzes.  We've been through that already and I'd rather not stir up anymore bad feelings, but I would appreciate if you'd stop bringing it up!  Aren't there other, more important things to worry about?  ::)

Who said anything about me living my life as a spinster?  I have four fiancés, I'll have you know.  One who just turned 18, another who will be 18 in a month, one who is 16 and the other who is 15 (train 'em young girls!).  And my boyfriend doesn't mind at all.

Gotta love those robotics kids!

And I have to wonder why a 45 year old man wants to spend his life as a grumpy old virgin who spends his time watching replays of his niece dressed up like a cheerleader??  ::)

Enough already people - this really isn't necessary....

The intent of the thread was to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day, irrespective of the words that were used

This is just vicious and unnecessary  :(

When you get sick of the hateful ways he has of expressing himself......things like this get said.  When he learns enough is enough.....then I think everyone will stop! >:(

Hahaha. I can't help getting these wicked visions of the Countess of Bathory. As a Gemini, it must come with the territory ;)

That doesn't seem likely. He's still alluding to his obsession... even after all that has been said and done... What's the use? Just make whatever replies you feel like making and move on.
