Subject: RIP

Written By: Gabble_Ratchet on 03/10/03 at 03:39 a.m.

What with all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment,it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person which almost went un-noticed last week.

Larry La Prise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Cokey" died peacefully at age 93.

The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin.

They put his left leg in... and then the trouble started!!

I always thought it was "Hokey Pokey". Ah well.

May he rest in peace.

As far as gettin' him into the coffin....

I'm sure that's what he would have wanted, right?!  ;D

GB, You're a bad, bad boy.  ;)

Actually, it's the Hokey Pokey herre in the US and the Hokey Cokey in England. Remember, they're the same country that gave us Pink Floyd, and whose residents drive on the opposite side of the road. :P

It's really sad, but funny in a way. When they put him in his grave:

They'll put his left foot in, they'll put his left foot out, they'll put his left foot in and shake it all about

They'll put his right foot in, they'll put his right foot out, they'll put his right foot in and shake it all about

Should I continue? ::) :'(
