Okay, I heard a speech is in order from me, so here goes:

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who voted.  I never realized how much the kitty was enjoyed by everyone, sometimes ad nauseum.  ;)  I have some good motion sickness medicine should anyone need it.  ;D  I do remember the first time I came across that pic and decided to use it as an avatar.  I think RnRF or someone created a thread on this very board to compliment me on my new avatar.

Second, I have to thank whoever decided to place their kitty on a turntable and near-seamlessly loop a .gif file to create such a humorous and vibrant pic.  :)

I first nosed around the inthe80s messageboard back in '99.  At that time I basically answered questions to "what is this song?" and talked about the music.  I am eternally thankful that I decided to keep coming back and over the years, esp. recently, have learned a lot about many of you and have been able to share a bit about me with you.  I consider you all my friends and a part of my family, as I feel to be a part of yours here.  This place has truly enriched my life.  Thank you all for being you. :)

Ready for the afterparty whenever you guys are.  Rock on!  :D
