Subject: Delayed Laughing Syndrome

Written By: ShellyGal on 04/15/03 at 07:18 p.m.

Funny/pathetic thing that happened today... I'm sitting in math class and I'm really bored then this blonde girl walks by and drops her books. Instead of saying "oh sh!t" or something she let out this pathetic little mew. (i'm cracking up right now I as write it.) At the time it wasn't so funny, but then 5 periods later I'm sitting there, thinking back, and suddenly I start laughing hysterically. A little slow eh? So has this happened to any of you of am I just weird?

I always laugh at the wrong time.  There are things that I don't even think are funny in the first place, then in the middle of science class I will just bust out laughing about it.  Weird, huh?

What can I say? That's exactly how she sounded...in english it would be something like oh.... It was so incredibly funny for some reason.

I have a friend......won't say who since she is a member here.....that has that problem...but only with jokes.  You can tell her a joke...and you can see in her face she is trying to process it....then after a few seconds she will laugh....

I call it her "Seven Second Pause"

and no, she is not blonde!!!!! ;D
