Subject: An Upcoming Music Festival

Written By: FunkyFresh on 04/21/03 at 05:56 p.m.

So I just found out about a music festival this summer in New York.

There's a really great group of artists perfoming including two of my favorites: Beastie Boys and Radiohead.  The ticket prices are very high for these kind of events.  I was just wondering, have any of you ever been to an event similar to this?  Was it worth it?  Crowded beyond belief?  I know they're plenty of these festivals in Europe during the summer- Reading, etc...

I have been to something somewhat similar though the bands werent as well known as those are when I went to Park Fest in Atlanta a few years ago.  But to me it was worth it the only thing that I really had to worry about was sunburns and your legs getting tired.  I will have a better idea in two weeks after I go to Music Midtown in Atlanta which is made up of bigger named bands and I will be there for 2 of the 3 days.  But, I would say its worth it especially if some of your favorite groups are going to be there.
