I think we've had this thread before, but I thought we should let the newbies catch up.
Do you have any siblings and/or friends that you have brought to the board?
I got my sister, hannahbear, hooked on the Quizzes board. :P
Anyone else recently bring any friends?

Of course...my bestest sissy is here with us...Goldie...I invited her just over a year ago...so glad she joined us! :-*
I also have my best friend, Farmgirl...that lurks more than posting.
And along the years I have met other boardies....Wicked Lester and Hossy....but I won't go into any detail about that here. ;)
edited to add: I have alot of other friends here...that I have met along the way...but never had to pleasure to meet...maybe on of these days we will all be able to hook up and PARTY!!!!!!

I have never met anyone in person from this board...but I am sure I will someday. There are so many wonderful people here whom I consider "my friends". :)

I haven't brought anyone to the board yet (although I have been trying to recruit a few family members). I have many friends here, have talked to a few on the phone, and have finally met someone from the board (check the 2000's board for more info). :)

My best friend (going back to junior high school) comes here off and on. Her name has changed from Shannon to Islandgirl and now to NbC. :D Also, my brother (guamanian) checks in here occasionally (as well as his wife, Cat Lover).

I haven't met anyone on the boards yet though I agree that there are a great bunch of people here :D I actually found the boards because a guy I work with downloaded a lyric quiz from here over 2 years ago and I logged on to check out where he got it from.

After over a year of trying, I got a friend of mine to check us out.
She mostly lurks, but she did register under the name Chrissy Jett. I don't think she has posted yet, but she's been very busy with work lately and "free time" is a fictional concept at the moment.
She thinks we are the funniest group, she's told me some posts have her laughing so hard, the soda shoots out her nose. :D

There is more chance of it snowing in Sub-Tropical Brisbane than there is one any of my siblings ever being here (or for that matter, knowing how to operate (i.e. Turn On) a PC... ::)
My friend from High School, Reddyrules, used to be here, now he lurks occasionally.....
Something to bear in mind people....at least most of you are within the same country as each other, at least you have the realistic chance of meeting each other if you really want it to happen...

Actually, now that I think about it, Banasy and langdon_hughes are like the abusive, protective step-sisters I never had. They managed to pass off all their bad influences onto moi which is cool since now I can wreak havoc with panache 8)

There are a few people here that I consider my "friends". I don't mean to single anyone out, but I must say that I am very lucky to have "met" a certain member here. He has helped me get through some rough times over the past few weeks. He has given me advice, and let me cry on his shoulder, he makes me feel really special & cared for.....but most of all....he makes me laugh. He's the funniest guy I know!!

I am flattered and find myself lacking the words. I have, literally, run out of proper vocabulary to tell you what your friendship means to me...
Mere words cannot describe it, right? But we will be able to truly see it in our eyes the way we hear it in our voices, our sighs, and our nervous laughter.
The wait is a small price to pay seeing as to how I regained my Youth and Passion all of the sudden. You have painted a picture of a young man who will not age for years to come...
At least, that is how I feel at the moment. It's the Zen perspective to also stop and appreciate the Now... and I am.
