Subject: Job Interview
As most of yall know, I have been trying to get a job for the past few months without luck. Well, I practically had a job fall into my lap Friday afternoon!! It is with a competitor of my old company and they are really interested in me, since I have over 10 years experience in the same field they are looking to fill. No training required on their part, plus I take alot of knowlegde of the customer base with me. I interview with them in the morning
It is the job I have been looking for on the same pay scale I was making before. Jobs like this are not easy to come by. So PLEASE keep me in your thoughts, prayers or whatever you can do to wish me well in securing this job. Not only do I really need this job, I really want this job!!

Guys, all your thoughts and prayers and finger crossing must have done the trick!! My interview went GREAT today....the man was very impressed with my past experience and almost had me blushing as he gushed over me (I am not bragging, it was just a VERY nice compliment). The position I was asking for he said I was over-qualified for, so he has a job in upper administrative management that he wants to put me in. I go back next Tuesday am to meet the "big boss" for a one on one with him, but he has already reviewed my resume and told the man today I all but have the job, just waiting to meet with me personally and talk pay ranges and job duties!!
FINALLY, I feel like somebody again, and I hope you will all continue to stick with me til I can get back to this thread and tell you I am officially employed!!

I finally got the call today back from the HR manager...and not good news.
It seems they feel I am overqualified for the job and that long term I would grow bored of what I would be doing.
They had me take an Interest Analysis test last week, it was 6 pages of BS that was suppose to help them get to know me in a short amount of time. The results seem to be the reason they decided I would get bored. I dont know how answering questions about who is the most important person in my life and and what I think about drug abuse gave them the idea I would get bored, but I guess it did.
