I also turned the big 4-0 this year.  ::) (But I had a GREAT party  ;D) I do think DC is the oldest. He turns 57 next month (June 5th to be exact  ;)) As I always tell him, I would never call him "old," I just call him "chronalogically challenged."  ;)

I was born in 1974 so that would probably make me the middle oldest.  ???

I'm a little bit older than you.  I was born in 1969.  I think there are one or two others born in the sixties as well.

I was born in 1967.

That puts me firmly in the "average" age range.

There are some members older than me, and there are some younger (I think our youngest member is 12?).

I think it is great that we have such a wide age range around here.  There are things to learn from everyone.

LOL Xenakat, I have you by one year! '66  ;D

I do agree we have a wide variety of ages here, although I wish we could get some people who were born in the late 50's early 60's to liven up the pre 70s and 70s boards, I dont remember the 60s at all but grew up in the 70s finally graduating HS in '84. There are so many things that I dont remember from the 70s as I do from the 80s.   >:( its almost like there is a wall from Dec 31st 1979 to Jan 1st 1980 that I cannot remember much on trivia past that point.  I can remember what happened to me, but not what happened around me. Does anyone else have a mental block like this?)

Anyway I hope we do get some more people from that era to remind us of what we were doing during that time period

I guess the things that happen that are important to you when you are young are things like what you got for Christmas/birthday that was particularly outstanding, starting school etc.  Things like national news etc generally doesn't impact on you until later on.  Maybe at secondary school (11+) you start to take a bit more notice of the world around you.

I think your right Karen, however when someone says do you remember doing this in '77 I can then remember it, I just need something to set off the thought process to retrieve memory from the long unused braincell  :P

So I guess CAT was right, at least so far.  I was born in 1946 (that's FORTY SIX - dad got home, married, and voila  ;D) which makes me - how old? - Cat says 57, but she can't do simple math - without a calculator.  On the other hand, everything still works, I feel great, summer (on my boat) is here, and, as CAT just said, she keeps me young.  In fact - and this is true - I surprise myself every morning when I look in the mirror.  There's this semi-old guy looking out at me - who the H is he?  I still feel 30. If your healthy, age is in your mind.  Although I will become a grandfather in August  ??? and, no doubt, turn into a babbling idiot again (I did every time one of my kids was born - I saw all of them come into the world.

I'm 32 this year. Next year I will be 42, then after that, 52... until I reach 92 six years from now. Then I hit the big 03 and work my way back up again. Numbers are silly hahaha. You can't really tell much of a person from a number. Ask anyone who's read The Little Prince... right, Zella?

Great outlook - I agree ! ;)

I always did think it would be cool if we were born 100 and worked our way down.Isn't that the way it was for Jonathan Winters in Mork & Mindy ?
