Subject: The CATCHIEST Tunes

Written By: lebeiw15 on 05/26/03 at 06:58 p.m.

I will start off by saying, of course, my favorite song at the moment, "Walk of Life" by Dire Straits.  Can't understand a word of it, but it's still probably the catchiest tune I've ever heard.

That's a great song :)  I also like "Rhythm of the Night" by El Debarge.  These are songs that you just have to tap your feet or bob your head to.

LMAO! This cracks me up lebeiw15!! I think Walk of Life is one of the easiest songs to understand. Mark Knopfler sing/talks so I find deciphering his lyrics no problem at all! And I agree that it is a darn catchy tune! Another I find extremely catchy (and I sing it for days after I hear it) is Unskinny Bop by Poison...

"Just want to dance the night away" see I'm singing it already !! (Dance the night away - The Mavericks)

The lion sleeps tonight is another that I find catchy also Nelson - Love and Affection.

I used to like that song until I had to stand in line for the ride at Disneyland a few years ago hearing that song OVER AND OVER again. I was just thinking about the poor guy who worked the ride for 8 hours and hearing nothing but that song. UGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!  :o

I have a song that has been stuck in my head for awhile. EVERYONE knows it, but I don't know the name. Its the one thats been in car commercials with a woman singing, I don't know if there are any real words to the song but what I remember her singing is the " De De De De Do De de De" in a real mellow kind of voice. I don't think that will help anyone put me out of my misery but thats all I have. HELP!!!! ??? ???

Rio

Oh yeah, stand and deliver is one that gets stuck in my head a lot too! ;D
