I got my first car three years ago...before that I drove my father's Honda (which I subsequently turned into an Onda, and, thus, a tax write-off ::) ;D) and my mom's Volvo (which is still a Volvo).  Now I'm waiting to trade it in for a better car ;D

Yay Jeep!  There's only one 8)

Hey!  A Jeep is much better than most people's first cars!  I wouldn't mind having one now, as a matter of fact.  I love them! ;D  Trust me, it's much better than a 1980(I think) Chevy Citation ::)

My first car was a Mini which I loved until one day when I had to jump out half way round a roundabout when a spider ran across the dashboard.
I refused to drive it again after that.

MY first car was a submarine. Think I am kidding? It was a 1976 Chevy Caprice...baby you can fit three vws in one of those.  And the reasoning for this car? It is big, you get in a wreck you don't get hurt. WRECK? Are you KIDDING?  Other cars would skitter out of the way with that big piece of Detroit rolling down the road. I refused to drive it so it sat until I sold it and bought a little Fiesta.  ;D I miss that car. It was so itty bitty it was like wearing a car instead of sitting in it. LOL...

My first car was like that, too.  1979 Pontiac Phoenix.  I drove everyone everywhere...my car was the only one that would fit us all.  I hated that car and tried to make it die.  As far as I know, it still lives.

I got my drivers license with my dad's '66 cadilac sedan deville, the only larger car they put out was the hearse/ambulance version of the same car (like the Ghostbuster's car) I almost failed my drivers license test from not being able to parallel park correctly.  As my brother used to say: "On a clear day you can see both ends of the car!" :P

Oh there was no WAY I was going to parallel park that sub I had. It should have come with an optional periscope.  ;D

my first (and only...Im still using it) car is a  1986 Chrystler Lebarron that is falling apart (if you want to hear the cars story, look at my parody called "I have a broken down car" to the tune of Claptons "Ive got a rock and roll heart")

Congratulations on your jeep!!!!! My friend has a jeep and he LOVES to go offroading all the time, I love going with him, it is so much fun!! But anyways. My first car was a 1990 Buick Century. I hate that car with a real passion. I ended up crashing it and completly destroying the front end of it, I thought I killed it...more on that later....

THEN I bought my Camaro, now that was an awesomecar. It was an 87 but it was in great shape. I had the Camaro about 7 months, I got rear ended :'(, and had to get rid of it. I had PLANNED on buying another Camaro but my father had other plans. He made me pay him 2000 dollars to buy a new front end and parts and work for ...guess what..the Buick. So, until I move out to Vegas, I am stuck with this hunk of crap that needs new brakes, an oil change and....sorry, I'm rambling about the Buick again, I just can't help it.

For some strange reason, I bought a Camaro keychain today, funny but I think I'm still going through Camaro withdrawls.

If anyone is in the Las Vegas area and has a Camaro they might want to sell me in a couple of months, let me know. Thanks much!

Rio

oh my gosh! my first car was a beamer, and i was, like so mad at my daddy because i wanted a red one and he got me a stupid black one, and he thought that by putting in those stupid tvs into the headrests that i would be okay with the color, but its like so not me and it like clashes with my nail polish so i like made him take it back and get me the red one but they wouldnt tak eit back, the nerve, and so he had to buy the red one and he gave the stupid black one to my little sister. the nerve.

My first car was an XC Falcon (ex taxi and ex police car) I bought it for $700 (Australian) had it for 9months and traded it in on a Toyota Corona for $1200. I also owned a Torana and realised I cannot drive both so I sold the Torana after 15 months. The Corona blew up after its first long long drive five years after buying it. I then bought a Nissan Skyline Wagon brand new in 1986 and have had it ever since. 500,000 kilometres on the clock and still going strong.
