Subject: Where'd you get your name?
My online name "Fred", was shortened from "Fred Zeppelin"
which I had from an online game.
Which I got from another online guy who called himself "Jed Zeppelin".
How'd you guys create your names?
Being a fan of Led Zeppelin, Fred was the only thing that rhymed with Jed.

well lets see, I was named Michael because it was a name in teh Florio family that was supposed to be the first born's name, but my parents messed up, so now the seccond born got the name of Michael...and as for Florio, well everybody else in my family had it, so I got it as well...

well, I also got the name Billy instead of Michael because my dads name is Bill, and my mom refused to name me after my dads lazy no-good brother......I guess my mom decided that the name was fitting for the second born ;D
so we can all blaim the name mix-up on my Mom.....but then again, Im glad my names Billy and not Michael.....Im friends with WAY too many michaels..I really dont need to make stuff more confusing lol

Mine is my nickname and a shortened version of my real name.Basically the parents couldn't decide what to call me and argued over it for a week when I was born,apparently they were convinced they were having a boy to be called Duncan !! Anyway my Dad spotted the name in a newspaper liked it and registered me as it,turned up at the hospital and said 'by the way I've registered her as...' .As I am a Daddy's girl really it is the only thing I hold against my father, cos I hate it!

My name is Robert but I couldn't have that as my username because somebody else had it so I called myself Bobby which is more friendly than 'Bob'.

my dad was creating a fake schedule for a fake band called "four coffee" for some program, and after that, i started thinking of strange band names and came up with "odd socks." it fits me too, because i'm too lazy to match my socks, therefore, they are odd. the "x" comes from my long-time alias "doxers the Great."

My younger cousins - the kids of my cousins - call me Don Carlos (mostly when they have taken a bit too much Biccardi ;)) and to honor my mother I decided on a Spanish rendition. I'm also the 4th in a straight line, to bear my name. My son is the 5th - Carlos Quinto. So, as Tevia said in Fiddler on the Roof "Its a tradition". ;D

My screen name comes from Scooby Doo - my fave character is Velma, and 63 was a very important year in my life (guess why :-* )
My real name is another story - my parents already had two boys and my dad promised my grandfather that the next child would be named after him. His name was Jeremiah. I am a girl. You try to make that into a girl's name LOL.
Actually my mom was going to name me Jeremia and call me Mia for short. Then a friend of hers had a daughter named Geraldine Louise, and they called her Geri-Lou. That's how I came up with the moniker Jeri-Ann.

My name comes from an episode of Rugrats I saw while flipping the channels. Chas called himself "The Chazman" The Da in that is just a thing I made up.

I was Catwoman for many, many decades. I was even Catwoman before Michelle Pfiffer was (but not before Julie Newmar ;)) I collect cats and have some made from almost everything-wood, porcalan, brass, etc. from all over the world, not to mention my live ones. ;D I also have a lot of feline qualities myself-meow. ;)
My real name-I was named after my great-grandmother who died the year before I was born. :'(
