We thought that she might had gotten into a tiff with one of the other cats but it is an infection. Yesterday her foot was so swollen that she couldn't really walk on it and the vet couldn't really see what it was. She was also running a fever of 105. I know that cats temp. are usually higher than ours but that was still high for her. Today, she is doing so much better. The swelling is gone and the fever is down. She is now eating more. (This cat is so thin that she can't afford to miss a meal-she used to be about 15 lbs but now she is 4.6 lbs). She is 18 years old now and has so many health problems. She has to go to the vet every week to get fluids and she is on special food and has meds she needs to take every day-and please don't ask how much my vet bills are. I forked out a lot money for this in the last year  ::). But she is well worth it. She is such a sweety. This cat is like the Engerizer bunny-she keeps going, and going, and going.  ;) Unfortunately, I think the other two are jealous because of all the special treatment she gets-but they do get plenty of attention, too.
