How about listing some of the album covers you think are just plain ugly-looking?
I will start off with the bright pink (sometimes red, I guess ???) cover of Santana's "Zebop!".

Mars Volta is still halfway underground, I don't believe they've had any hits in the US, Europe, or Australia yet.

Iron Maiden's album covers are mostly ugly (Eddie ain't winning no beauty pageants)

Oh Man! You have no idea how hilarious that is to me! My grandfather bought that album because he is a huge Bolton fan. I've tried for years to describe that album cover to my friends but just couldn't find the right words to describe it.

Junior is a huge RHCP fan and I think he just meant the cover was ugly. :)
Remember, these are ugly album covers, not the content of the CD (though the Michael Bolton one qualifies for both ::))

I can't remember who it belongs to, but I'm sure I saw one that was all Blue and didn't have anything on it really, except for a tiny little dot in the middle. On the back, with all the songs, it had the picture of a stomach and a mouth - well, I won't go Into detail. It's disgusting. And it said something like 'Little Dreams' for the band. I'm sure not long ago they broke up after two days of trying to get together! They weren't on the news. It was lucky, though, all of their single covers they made on their own were nicer!

Yeah, Cannibal Corpse at #14. It looks like a rip-off of a poster for a low budget 80s horror movie called "Screamers", the one whose tagline is "Warning: You will see a man turned inside out." Very appetizing. ::)

There's one I made up though, ages ago, and it looked horrible. I was looking at a cover and I thought 'Eww' and it gave me an Idea to make one of my own 'Horrible covers'!
The picture was like a sunset, nice at first. But, if you got a magnifying glass and moved it over the palm tree, you saw a dark red, bloody eye. Over the top of the cover in large, bold writing was (one of my own 'Cool Band Names') 'RomanArt Unicornz'. It stuck in my head and disturbed my nights dreams.
