Subject: Up-Date
Just in case anyone is curious how things are coming along with our wedding. The date has been set for Oct 18 and we finally got the invitations out last week. Still no word about my dress which means that I need to call the seamstress to find out what is going on. We still need to get rings, come up with music for the ceromony, get someone to video tape it, and write our vows but other than that, I think everything is pretty much in place-the dj, the food, the person to officate, etc.
My brother is trying to hook something so that my grandmother will be able to watch it-live. Being 95 years old, she really can't travel. She thought about it for about 5 minutes until my dad put his foot down. Hopefully something can be worked out so she will be able to be here-in a way.
Well, that is how it stands now. Just thought you guys would like to know. ;D

What sort of music are you going for? And what's the dress like??

We are thinking about some sort of new age for the ceromony (the reception is all taken care of). As for my dress, it hasn't been made yet but I want something very simple.
No, we haven't gotten a new mattress yet. We are waiting for school to start (when the paychecks start coming again) which should be next month.

I got married on the 4th of July,and it took us a whole month to put our wedding together(no I wasnt pg,just didnt want a big fussy wedding).
Everything will come together,you'll see.(As long as the person booking the reception doesnt call you at 10pm the night before and tell you the place got flooded like my mother did)

Since we have been living together for over 5 years, I don't expect much change on the home front - better not be , especially - I'll let that alone. But I am looking forward to the party. My kids are all coming, from as far away as CA, and it should be a great time.
