Subject: Dark Side of the Moon

Written By: CatwomanofV on 08/11/03 at 07:26 p.m.

Ok, I finally got Dark Side of the Moon on CD (I only ordered it twice but that is a whole other story). I have heard about listening to it while watching The Wizard of Oz. Can someone tell me exactly when I am suppose to start it. I hate to do all that and the timing is off-which would defeat the purpose.

Thanks for your help

you start it the third time the Lion roars at the begining, and it runs around 2 and 1/2 times through.....and I have yet to do it

What is the purpose of this  ?

Did you ever hear that someone hanged themselves on the Wizard of Oz set.  When all 4 of them are skipping down the road  (yellow brick) together if you look up ahead of them and i think off to the left alittle in the woods you`ll see like a silohette of a person swinging by the neck from a noose.

I haven't checked any of the links in this thread, but I do remember reading about the hanging being a false urban legend. :)

The connection between DSOTM and the Wizard of Oz is also false.

Somebody posted this idea a couple of months ago, I can't remember who it was. I happened to be listening to DSOTM in the car a lot at that point so I thought I'd try it out. I got about 25 minutes into it and I have to say that I just didn't get the connection at all. To me there just seemed to be no correlation between the song lyrics and the action on the film.
I'd have to go with Goreripper and say that the whole idea is flawed, and CatwomanofV, I really wouldn't even bother trying it.
