well to add to my questions about everybody...

of course Im american, but Im italian and very little irish..

what are you?

Depends on if you count nationality as where you were born and lived or what your parents are.

I was born in England but my mum's Scottish and my dad's half Scottish half English.
So i'm either English or 3/4 Scottish 1/4 English...but live in Australia.

The clue to my nationality is in my login name...!

That said, I do refer to myself as a Brit, but I cannot "offically" call myself English...crazy, but true...on any formal application over here, you are expected to write down "British"...

As far as I can trace my lineage, all my forebears originated around the South Eastern part of the country...

I am 'British', Mike. I come from England.

My grandparents on my mum's side are welsh but I was born in Wolverhampton in the West Midlands.

I'm Canadian by birth.  My ancestry is Norwegian/English/Scottish.

English by birth, parents both English, grandparents all English, half of my g-grandparents were French... or somewhere around, anyway...

I assume somewhere down the line I'm from Scandinavia...

My mom was born and raised in Puerto Rico until she came north to work as "Rosie the Riveter" during the war and marry my dad, who was in Europe for the invasion of Normandy.  His grandfather came to the US from Germany to avoid being drafted into the German army.  My dad's mother's family was from Alssace-Lorraine.  They came after the Franco-Prussian war because they didn't want to be German (France lost that province).

Let's see...Irish, Native American.  That's about it.  Which means I can drink like a fish and have been known to have a short fuse ;D

I have some Scott and Spanish ancestory and some other continental breeds. Mostly just Eurotrash.

Aussie as far back as the first settlers in 1700's and prior to that English, Scottish and Irish.

i'm american, but my family comes from england, ireland, scotland, germany, france, poland, austria, italy, and greece...but i'm mostly english, german, italian, and polish...25% english, because my grandmother was born and raised in the UK.  like many others, i'm your basic american mutt. :)
