If you guess the blood and gore YOURE WRONG!Its the parents who take their kids to see this kind of movie.I saw it last weekend and one quarter of the audience was kids 7 and under?WHAT WOULD POSSESS THESE IDIOT PARENTS TO BRING THEIR KIDS TO A MOVIE LIKE THIS!You would have thought it was Harry Potter from all the kids I saw in there.Dont kids have nightmares and think the "Boogie Man" is always under the bed?But its ok that Freddy Krueger a child killer by the way might pop up in a kids dream and now the kid thinks he is going to die!I dont have kids and glad I dont and will never have them!I do have a one year niece and WOULD NEVER EVER TAKE HER TO SEE A MOVIE LIKE THIS!Even if she was too young to understand what was going on I would never show violent movies in front of her!NO WONDER SOCIETY IS GOING DOWNHILL WITH BAD PARENTS LIKE THESE!

In the end it comes to this:

a kid would have to be mature enough to watch this flick, but how do we measure maturness?  Age?  Are we seriously supposed to believe that once a kid reaches a certain age, he's all of a sudden mature?  It takes time to mature, but everyone matures at different levels.  And who knows the kid better, his parents, or a total stranger?  If you cant tell, Im taking no sides on this issue.

I think to many parents, Freddy and Jason are a part of their youth. I guess Freddy and Jason are not nearly as scary as the 5 o'clock news.

I came from better times, more innocent times.
