Hello Everybody!

Iīve just come back from Salou in Spain. It was a wonderful country (and I drank a lot too!). I have a lot to write so I will do that in dribs and drabs across the thread.

I hope you have all missed me.  ;D

Thanks for the messages.

I did so much. We went to Barcelona on more than one occassion and visited the Aquarium and the īNou Campī(spelling?) stadium for Barcelona football club. It is absolutely massive! It can hold at least 100,000 people. I didnīt fancy buying the Barcelona strip because . . . Well Iīm a Wolverhampton Wanderers fan arenīt I? At night, we were treated to a fountain display involving coloured lights and classical music and was truly beautiful.

Talking of the Wolves, in Salou I went into an English-themed bar called īThe Rovers Returnīto watch the Wanderers play Manchester United. We got beaten 1-0 but I didnīt think it was a bad result considering we were playing a better side.

Again, thanks for the responses.  :D

Thanks for all your welcomes everybody - you are all great.

I heartilly recommend Port Aventura. It is a wonderful theme park which features Europe's biggest Rollercoaster ride 'The Dragon Khan'. The park was split into four sections 'Far West','Mexico','Indonesia' and 'China'. I recommend the 'Temple of Fueglo' in the Mexico section. It was a wonderful show with great effects. The park closes to a small fireworks/light display which was awesome.

I went on the Stampido rollercoaster in Far West (which was quite violent really looking back) but dipped out of going on Dragon Khan because I was too scared.  :-[

I went on a Jeep Safari on my last day in Spain and it was one hell of a ride! I didn't half get bashed about as we went off-roading in the mountains. During the Safari, we went to Suriana were there are only 25 people living there. There was a church that only gets opened during service because an Art thief in the eighties stole the paintings on the church walls. The key to the church is passed around secretively between the 25 people for security reasons.

I've gone on but I just had to share my experiences with you.  :D

I didn't go to Costa Caribe because we had been to Aquopolis (which was wonderful) and Aqualeon (which wasn't quite so wonderful). We had to try and cram as much into our holiday as we could.

Though saying that, we went to Barcelona twice. Once for The Rambla (Hard Rock Cafe was excellent) and general sight-seeing and the second time was to go to Aquarium, make a second trip to Barcelona Stadium and see the dancing fountains.
