My mate Jamie reckons that slugs probably taste like liquorice, but he's not prepared to try one to prove his theory.
Have any of you eaten a slug and if so, what did it taste like?

I've never delibrately eaten a slug cos I once read about a nasty disease you can get from them. Some sort of wormy thing can grow in your body apparently and make you blind.

But that still doesn't necessarily mean they don't taste like liquorice!

one of my friends used to swallow frogs & goldfish. :-X If he ate a slug before i`d call him and ask him for ya what it taste like but i don`t think he did :-X

My sister has tasted a slug before, she said they don't really taste like anything, just slimey, and they kinda make your tongue numb. She said it was actually pretty cool.
