anyone on the east coast worried? i am because i'm supposed to do an 8k time trial tomorrow in 28mph wind

Well, my girlfriend evacuated her house.  My parents are sticking it out.

They've closed our office tomorrow, so I get to sleep in!  I don't think it's going to be as bad as they fear, but I'm not going to complain about having a paid day off of work!

My other still has to work, so I told him I would miss him as I snuggled back into the blankets after he leaves...

Yeah, I spent my afternoon today tying a huge tarp over all the stuff on my patio and trying to mend a rope through all the holes.  Eventually, I realized that I wouldnt have close to enough rope for every hole, so to avoid wasting time, I finished it off by doing only about 3 holes for the last two sides whereas I did every hole on the other two sides, so I dont know how well this will hold, lol.

right now (i'm in southern PA) its raining but not torrentially and pretty windy. which means it'll be very hard to sleep if my air  conditioning keeps on not working

nothing happened here.  (i'm in eastern PA.)  apparently, the power went out in town because of a car accident, but nothing weather related.  no rain, but it was windy.  (i had been counting on no school, so i stayed up late...that totally didn't happen. ::))
