Tell me what movie you hate the most? I'd say it is definatly "Watchers 3". This horrid peice of garbage, is the most low budget lame movie ever!

I've never even seen Watchers 1 and 2 Fred, so I can't comment.

I will say however that "Being Human" with Robin Williams (who I otherwise enjoy) was the worst film I've ever seen. Closely followed by "The Runaway Bride" with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, which even my wife turned off after 30 minutes.

I've never seen Watchers 1 and 2 either, I think it's one of those movies that went straight to video, and completly bipassed the theatre.  ::) :( :P

I would say Titanic, but I haven't even seen it yet... but the ten minutes that I did see were awful...

I was unlucky enough to see the whole thing. It was crap.
Anything with Leonardo DiCaprio in it (aka SproutBoy as my friend Carol calls him) is always bollocks. Remember that awful version of Romeo and Juliet? It was set in a modern city environment, but they used the original script. So you had gangsters drawing guns on each other and shouting stuff like "Put up thy sword" and everything.

By the way... Has anyone ever noticed how much Leonardo DiCaprio looks like Ray-Man with that stupid hair?

Not true, not true at all.  Catch Me If You Can was an excellent, excellent movie.  I can't believe the Oscar nomination went to Gangs of New York, which was awful throughout.

Oh, and how could I forget the Disney cartoon adaptations of all those fairy tales? It's kind of funny how they're always watered down to make them suitable for children:

The Little Mermaid
Disney version: Mermaid meets prince, lives happily ever after.
Original version: Mermaid kills herself to save the prince.

Sleeping Beauty
Disney version: The prince wakes up Sleeping Beauty by kissing her.
Original version: The prince has sex with her while she is asleep and she later gives birth to twins. One of the twins sucks the drop of poison out of her finger and THEN she wakes up.

You name it, they toned it down. Fairy tales were really quite horrible when they were first written. But I still think that if you're going to do a film version of something, either do the original or don't do it at all.
Though having said that, Minority Report was nothing like the book, but still a great film. Oh dear, contradicted meself. Ah well. Forget I said anything.

And don't forget the bogus ending to Pocahontas. In real life, Poca and John Smith never had relations. In fact, the white men killed most of the Indians off the territory, including Poca's dad.  >:(

But I digress. The worst film of all time has to be "The Fiendish Plot of Fu Manchu", unless it's also "The Big Bird" with George "Always Plays Morons" Segal.

I don't even know if it counts as a movie, but if it does, I would say Stephen Spielberg's "Taken". I can't believe I wasted two-hours watching that cr@p for 10 Mondays! The ending left me in a state of "huh". I could rant on and on about that show!

There are too many awful movies to just list one. :P ;D

I'll list some of the ones off the top of my head which are excellent candidates for the title:

Howard The Duck
Drop Dead Fred
Grease 2
Wild Wild West
Lost In Space
Godzilla (1998)

Well today I sat and cried (yet again) through "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" - how can anyone hate that movie?  In fact my daughter watched it too and said that she had had to watch it for religion at school.  Johnny Depp was just wonderful and old Leonardo does a great intellectually challanged person.  I suppose different strokes for different folks. :)

I love that movie too (and forgot it was on today - wish I had taped it!) and I always cry when I watch it - but I cry in nearly every movie I watch.  I think Johnny Depp is a babe.  Went and saw that pirate movie hes in and I thought he was hot!!

The Wedding Planner
A vehicle for Jennifer Lopez - Oh I hate this film!

Jurrassic Park 2
BBBOOOOORRRRRIIIIINNNNGGGGGG!!!!!!

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace
Didn't feel right at all - and too much Ja Ja Binks!

My Best Friend's Wedding
Oh dear . . .

I liked JarJar Binks- so much so my family gave me a JarJar stuffed toy for my birthday. :D I personally think Attack of the Clones was the only thing that let the Star Wars series down. About the only good aspect of that film was Ewan McGregor (mmmmmm!  ;))

I have to call you out on all of these except Grease 2. And I thought "Date With An Angel" was a worse Phoebe Cates movie than "DDF". I didn't see "Lost In Space", but then again I didn't see "Gigli" or "From Justin To Kelly" either.

Most movies are crap, very few I choose to sit through and one that I and even my 3 friends walked out on was LA Story w/ Steve Martin.  Just didn't get it, nor wanted to.  Recently my wife and I rented and had to shut down within 45 minutes was Punch Drunk Love.  I was really dissapointed cause I thought it was going to be a "smart" Adam Sandler flick but it was nothing more than slow and boring.  A love "character" movies but they have to at least be somewhat interesting.

Wow, i reallt truely disagree with you two, Race and INdy......Punch Drunk Love was an amazing movie....it was a black comedy that showed Adam Sandler like he had never been before..it was an intellegent movie, but I guess you needed to see the whole thing to understand that...I agree with you on one thing though, it was slightly slow at the begining...and the end....the middle was paced well......it was very funny though

LA Story is my second favorite Steve Martin Movie...I love that one...I think it is hilarious as well...its his parody of LA life......it is an aquired taste though...just like Punch Drunk Love, its not like anything the aritst did before hand....(well, unless you consider Roxanne a stepping stone for this)....

also, Hannah,  you say you didnt laugh during YOung Frankenstien?   Did you watch the Blind man scene? lol

Roxanne is one of my all time favorites, I really like Steve Martin.  Did you see the Spanish Prisoner?  That one was interesting and with a definate "twist".  Maybe I could have liked Punch Drunk Love if I had given it more of a chance but just couldn't see a reason to finish it.

"The incredable Hulk" was pretty bad, IMO.  I hated the direction and the script was so poorly written.  That could easily qualify as one of the worst movies ever.

Three words: The Pokémon Movie.

My little sister dragged me there when she was going through the mandatory Pokémon phase. I couldn't even fall asleep during that because some six-year-old was kicking me in the back. So I just turned round and did my best Rhydon impression. I think it was a little too scary, even for him- but he stopped kicking me. 8)

This is probably not going to be a popular opinion. I'm not sure if it's because I'm just old and don't "get" some of today's movies and their intent, but I just watched "Dogma" last night and I think it summarily, royally sucked. I'm sure my opinion on Ben Affleck being a bad actor and utter dislike of Matt Damon on-screen doesn't help any. :P

So, "Dogma" is my vote for today as Worst Movie Ever!
