Subject: Prayer request
Every six months, I have an ultra sound for a supposedly benign lump as part of this study so the last one I had was on Sept 17, and I assumed everything was fine, but just last Monday, I got this call out of the blue from the doctor's office. I wasn't able to get through till yesterday and when I did the nurse?/secretary?She told me that the doctor wants to see me in person about my results next Wed (the 15th).
Why would they wait for almost three-weeks to call me about my results!!? I'm kind of irrate and also worried.

Booberry I am almost certain there is nothing to worry about. As you say three weeks is a long time (however busy they are) to wait before contacting you. It may be that the scan didn't quite work properly and they want to do it again. Try not to worry too uch over it.

BooBerry - as karen rightly states, three weeks is a heck of a long time to contact you if there was something seriously awry...
But I can understand your annoyance and worry...
Easy for me to say, but I'm pretty certain it's a trivial matter...nevertheless, my thoughts go out to you...
