:D :D :DIt would be cool if you lived near the border ,and had friends or relatives in the other country,so you could celebrate it both times! Some people actually live where they could just walk across the border to see their Canadian friends across the street.Cheers! :D

My anscesters became Americans by default. They thought they settled in Canada but I guess they moved the boarder so instead of moving their home, they just stayed. Thus, I am an American rather than a Canadian. Oh well.  ;)

Canadian Thanksgiving always falls on the same American holiday as Columbus day which is Monday.  And I'd say they are a bit early with theirs since by the 4th week of November it is hard core Winter there.  Thanksgiving is a time that was celebrated right after the harvest and food preservation processes were completed.  This would be about a month before most of the US according to the weather charts.

The first Thanksgiving here in the states (with the Pilgrams) was believed to take place in the middle of Oct. But, they put Thanksgiving in late Nov. to get a jump on the Christmas season.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN AND A HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYBODY (US, CANADA AND THE WHOLE WORLD).

I think it would be nice if we can name one thing we are grateful for.

I am grateful for having a job that gives me a 10 minute break every hour.

Hey Fred tgis is Rich, I hope I get my family up here to Utah in time for Thanksgiving. I am dying inside without them here. I have a big knot in my stomach, and it won't untie until my family comes up here.

Ah man! I'm getting you there. I would love just once for my dad to come down from Wolverhampton, England just to have Christmas with us. That would be the best present for me.
