Subject: Movie Continuity Poll

Written By: Indy Gent on 11/01/03 at 10:36 p.m.

The latest poll from imdb I found interesting:
What movie continuity error (something that changes between shots that shouldn't) do you wish you could have in your life?
Self-fixing hair and/or make-up
Self-filling beverage
Self-ironing clothing
Self-cleaning house
Unbreakable window
Cigarette that never goes out
Clock that never moves forward/always goes backwards
Self-healing wound
Self-dressing child

I picked a self-cleaning house. Whaddya think? ;)

Self-dressing child.

Which reminds me, I need to put PJs on.

Definately a self cleaning house.

I have always said I want an Alice (Brady Bunch).  I have an extra room, just need someone willing to do it for no money...just room and board.  Somehow I don't think that will happen. :-/

Self-ironing clothes would be nice since I despise that chore.   :)

If I could I would pick them all.

Self-healing wound's would be my selection.  I would feel like Wolverine.   ;)

I think I would prefer the self-cleaning house.  It's a constant battle trying to keep a house looking decent when you have small kids.  ::)

Oh Blimey! Self-ironing clothing...without a doubt...!

I also wouldn't mind a bank account that never empties...!

Healing, of course! If everyone had that we could get rid of the NHS and the government would suddenly have more money to spend on education and transport etc. As well as that we wouldn't be able to have wars anymore because nobody would die as a result of war injuries.

Would self-cleaning litter box be included in self-cleaning house?

I love my cats... litter boxes are just a pain in the rear and of COURSE they all need their OWN litter box, lol.

Clock that never moves forward/always goes backwards.

I wouldn't have to worry about running out of time again, and maybe could even become younger from a clock that goes backward!

Man, tell me about it. I have one cat, but sometimes it seems like we own an elephant. We spent about two months training him to bury it in the garden.

I recently aquired a new kitten and anyone who has ever had a kitten knows how smelly they are.  I get that lovely litter that supposedly 'gets rid of the smell', and it mostly works, but the trick is it has to be buried.  This kitten doesn't bury her stuff in the litter box, I guess she thinks she has better things to do.  I've tried to teach her, but she just stares at me like I'm psycho.

I found out the hard way they all wanted their own litter box, lol.  If one of them can smell another cat has used their box, they go NEXT to the box.

Cats are the cleanest animals that I know. Unless you don't clean the litterbox, which I only do once a week. Bad human. ;D

Apparently they bury their droppings because they don't want the smell of themselves to overpower the smell of you, because you are their surrogate parent and your smell has to be "dominant". At least, that's what people think, because in the wild, kittens do it but adult cats don't.

when you say self-healing wound, do you mean just a physical wound, or emotional and mental as well?

well Id probably pick that one anyway...

I think the IMDB editors really meant something tangible, like a wound you could see, which could easily be recognized as a continuity error in a movie. If they gave us the choice of having mental scars heal themselves, I would like that too.
