Car----Toyota ($$) Japanese cars are well made

Chocolate---Cadbury's ($), Hershey's ($), Rogers ($$)

Clocks---Fossil ($$$)

Coffee---Tim Hortons ($) Starbucks is supposedly to be the best, but I just find their coffee too strong.

Sorry, I have to disagree with you on a couple of these  (well, I guess it should be add a couple):

Handbags-- Coach  I used to go through purses like water until I started buying these.  If something breaks, you can send it back and they'll replace it for free.

Jeans--Tommy Hilfiger. I have a weird body-type and these fit me the best, followed by certain styles of Calvin Klein

Mod to add, I love McD's but because of their breakfast burritos.  Non-fast food breakfast--IHOP

Breakfast--Don't eat out for breakfast, fast food breakfasts (i.e. McDonalds) make me sick, literally sick.
Car- I have a '95 Jeep, '98 Toyota, & '94 VW, by far the VW is the best engineered, best put together and most fun to drive of the three..
Chocolate - I'm diabetic, not even on my radar...but when I did it was Cadbury's Turtles, god I miss them.
Clocks- ? There's digital clocks on everything nowadays, VCR, DVD, TV, car, microwave, radio/stero, PC. Don't have any reason to have another timepice around...would actually like to see less timepieces to remind us of our busy day.
Coffee - stopped drinking after had heart palpatations from triple swiss mocha's for a year, but yes, Starbucks is too strong...
Flavoured Lip gloss, Lipstick, Gowns, handbags & mascara- well, as a guy, if I was shopping for these, I would need to start looking for a good shrink as well...
Grocery Store food -- at least you have a choice. There's been a supermarket strike here in Cali for almost 5 mos. now, nothing is stocked, shelves are barren, Teamsters truck drivers won't cross picket lines, no meat, no produce or is scant or nasty, have to go to five different stores to get weekly groceries...
Clothing - I'm very tight with a dollar, I'll shop at Ross, TJ Maxx, or Marshall's before I'll go to a major dept store (i.e. Macy's). Don't rule out second hand or thrift stores for jeans, you can find really good ones for cheap...

I hate their commercials too, luckily they only appear on TV near Xmas here. I buy my clothes there though, along with Roots.

Personally, I will NEVER buy foreign cars. I'd rather save for another year and buy domestic.

Yeah, but you can't beat their prices on kid's clothes ;)

Personally, I'm a clearance rack shopper.  Gotta love finding a pair of Tommy Jeans for $6.74 @ Marshall Field's ;D

I thought VWs broke down frequently. I guess I'll give them another chance.

I love going to clearance racks! You can find good brands at ridiculously low prices there.

Oh yeah.  Oh, and did you know that Levi's has an 800 number you can call to get jeans replaced if they fray or something breaks (zipper, snap, etc.)?

I know it's probaby not the most desired place to shop, but I get a lot of things at, dare I say it, Wal-Mart.  Althought I get a lot of my clothes from Fashion Bug and Lane Bryant.  Good quality clothes with really good sales a lot of the times.

My husband loves Old Navy.  He got a t-shirt there from the clearance rack for, get this, $.96.  We were shocked.  The thing is, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.

oh yeah, Old Navy does that all the time.  I've gotten so many of my kids' clothes off their clearance rack.  They're usually the previous season's or year's design, but who cares.  It's not like their clothes are ultra-trendy. ;)

I used to deliberately go to places that sold weird stuff or stuff that no one else had bought. You see, at my school, you're either "in with the crowd" or not. I am most certainly not (well, I'm not in with the crowd that is made up of all the bleached-blonde airhead girls who are stuffed with bubblegum, and the fake designer label-clad boys who look as though their mothers tried to drown them in a river of hairgel) and prefer to befriend others who, like myself, do not care for such superficial pursuits.

Anyway, in order to flaunt my personality, I bought a bulky, black anorak, which had synthetic fuzz all over its collar. (I still wear it and love it with all my heart.) Surely, I thought, this must be the epitome of geek-ism. Surely, I thought, no one who is "in with the crowd" would buy such a garment.

A year later, the shops were full of them.

So I have taken to browsing the sales for items that The Crowd have long since abandoned and I can happily wear.

Do you have Ardene over in the U.K? It's a store that sells funky jewelry and accessories. I like wearing funky accessories so I like to poke my head in because the merchandise is one-of-a-kind. I also like shopping at Claire's, but their stuff is more mainstream.

Electronics- Best Buy has some pretty nice stuff, and Canada only Audiotronic has awsome home theatre set-ups.  ;)
