Subject: TV shows your suprised that aren't cancelled

Written By: woops on 02/26/04 at 00:25 a.m.

Some shows that I can't believe arestill on the air:

"Saturday Night Night" Went downhill since 1999
"E.R." Went down hill by 2001
"The Simpsons" No offense. I like this show, but the current episodes have tacky storylines.
"The Real World" A bad show since day one.
Every reality show that lasted more than 3 seasons like "Survivor"

Just the shows on regular networks in most countries (not including reality shows...):

Woopi (someone please tell her shes not funny)
King of The Hill (time to go)
Yes Dear
Still Standing
Everybody Loves Raymond
Two And A Half Men
CSI Miami (CBS's whole monday night)
America's Funniest Home Videos
7th Heaven
Frasier (already gone)
The Guardian
Judging Amy
Im With Her
Less Than Perfect
Its All Relative
The West Wing
Friends (surprised it lived past 1999)
Will And Grace
ER
ABC's Friday night line-up
Every WB comedy
Every reality show

Thats a lot...

Shows that I think will need to be cancelled soon before they turn bad:

The Simpsons
Ed
Boston Public
JAG
Malcolm In The Middle

For many shows, going for longer than 6 seasons is a risky and sometimes deadly option as they tend to lose it by then... comedies anyway. Maybe with dramas you could go on to the 8th

Any show that is currently on (or ever will be on) UPN!  ::)
Monster Garage (if J. James isn't even going to TRY and follow any of the rules anymore what's the point?)
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy
Christopher Lowell's show
Martha Stewart's Living
The View
The Actors Studio with that pompous *ss of a host...
The Fifth Wheel, Blind Date, Extreme Dating, & all of their ilk.

I actually agree. C'mon, Liza Minelli.  :P
Even VH1 didn't air the show that was supposed to air.

Plus, it's similar to "The Pitts". I think it's already cancelled since last Sunday, "Bernie Mac" on it's time slot.

Ditto. I don't like any reality-based series. They just don't appeal to me.

all of the dating shows

I don't watch anything else I don't like and don't really pay attention to them so that's all I have to list.  Oh, wait, add WWE to that list.  Hubby loves it, I can't stand it ;D

Two shows I'm "really" surprised they haven't cancelled are "Still Standing" and "Yes, Dear". Everybody Love Raymond is the crown jewel in a sea of flotsam and jetsam. And I must be the only person who thinks "The Sopranos" should be bumped off. (Fuggitaboudit!)

Also: Good Morning Miami
Scrubs
Queer Eye For The Straight Guy
The entire Spike TV programming
George Lopez
Hope and Faith
The Robert Schueller Hour of Power (Lord, deliver us from Scheuller)

I'm glad that the "Battlebots" mess is canned, but still waiting for "Will & Grace" to be cancelled.

The only time I enjoy it is when there's one of the "hotties" wrestling.  However, since the Rock hasn't been on in awhile, and "Big Sexy" hasn't either, there's not much to look at nowdays ;D

I'm happy to see Friends is finally going... and that Seinfeld is gone too... never understood the popularity of these shows

The Simpsons had an excellent season last year, this year is not quite as good (a whole episode centered around Evita? c'mon, that's way too late).  Even a bad Simpsons episode is still better than anything Fox shows the rest of the week.

"Reality" TV is a fad that's way overdue to collapse... American Idol is perhaps the worst of the lot, since it invades the pop charts too.

The reality shows where a woman meets a man and has to choose one for her very own.....

The reality show where a midget tries out midget women and has to choose one for her very own.....

Fear Factor, which has now shown us female Fear Factor, and why have they done this? The women are dressed in tight tops, the underwater thing they gave us with the women in bkinins (hevaen forbid they look like real girls, and yes they are ample.....) they catered to preadolescents, of course, and the perpetually preadolesnt.

Mad mad House which Sci Fi of all things has the nerver to show.....

Surreal Life 2......as much as I love Erik estrada, there's just gotta be a better way for him to still keep work in the mainland.....

Survivor

The reality show with a bride and grrom, the groom is a putz, and the bride has to pretend she's actuially mayying him, which makes the family go into a heart attack.....then, if, at the altar, she says "Psyche!" she wins a million bucks.
