I don't think it is particularly an Australian thing, I do it because I find it much more pleasing to the eye.

With exclamation marks and question marks I have always done that, because otherwise they look like they are part of the word, and I don't know, I just find it annoying  8)

But I was never taught to do it, and I hadn't even noticed that Manda and BMG did it either !

Call it a foible !  I dunno what Manda and BMG's excuse is though ! :P :P :P

Unfortunately, I've never seen it and wished Rhino Records would re-release it.  :( Since it's long out of print, it costs a lot of money on E Bay. Though I've seen clips of it on "VH1 Where Are They Now" or "Before They Were Rock Stars" and looks great.  :D

Unfortunately, I don't have VH1 Classic & MTV2 now mostly air current videos and popular videos from the '90's.

I agree with Fuss and Manda - it gives more impact to have it (the exclamation point or question mark) out there on its own.  I think of both as a "word" of their own and treat them as such.

Just a regular cheerleading squad.  We didn't have separate Pom or dance squads so we did it all.  We even went to a National competition and won 9th place out of 40-some squads.  Most of the squads had professional choreographers and we did it all ourselves.  I choreographed the routine and my friend and I did our "music" tape.  We used "Blue Monday" by New Order & "Excitable" by Def Leppard.  I can still do the entire routine, well, except for the pyramid & stunts ;)

No. It's Jeff. (Actually, Jeffrey.) I took my pseudonym from an episode of the Game Show Network series "Lingo". On that particular ep, some guy had spelled "n-a-l-l-y" and the team lost their turn, because it's not a real word. At the time (January 2003) I thought it was kind of funny, so I decided to use it for a pseudonym on Amiright.com and on here. :)
