I believe my first movie was "Stephen King's Cat's Eye". :)

I am pretty sure it was "The Graduate" in about 1968.....when I was on Christmas Holidays at the Sunshine Coast

I remember seeing "Snow White" at a drive-in. We had a station wagon and I remember hiding behind the back seat when the witch came on. The first movie I remember seeing in a theatre was a re-release of "Gone With the Wind". When the "Sound of Music" came out, my family went to see it but I wasn't allowed to because I was "too young." That made me mad. >:(

I"ll never forget it. My first viewing of a movie in a theater was in 1978 and it was "Grease". I was only four at the time, but I liked John Travolta even then. It has remained on my list of all time faves ever since.

I remember seeing Purple Rain at the age of 4 with my mom. At first she didn't wanna take me because it was rated R, but she gave in because she knew how much I loved Prince. She did cover my eyes during Prince and Apollonia's "Love" scene. Afterwards she bought me the soundtrack(which I still have). ahhh...that was a great day ;D

I think it would have been either "Flash" or "Herbie Goes Bananas". Well these are the earliest ones I remember anyway.

I've probably been to one before this, but the earliest one I can remember off the top of my head is "Operation Elephant Drop" or something like that.

I honestly don't remember, but when I was little my parents took me to see "101 Dalmatians" in a drive-in theater (early 1980s). I was too small to remember that, though.

I think I went to the drive in plenty of times before I actually went into a theater. But it was probably either Fantasia or The Jungle Book (Disney re-released the 1960s classic in the early 80s.)
I also remember seeing Rocky on "ON" TV--the first cable movie network. I walked across the street in my pjs with my mother to watch at a neighbors house.

One of the first movies I remember going to was "Jeremiah Johnson." I don't remember the movie, only that I threw a tantrum because I thought I was being dragged into a Bible movie. ;D

I can't really remember what the very first movie I saw was....however, I do remember when I was young...my family and I went to see Gremlins at the movie theater...I had to be about 7 or 8 I guess....it really creeped me out!

The first movie I remember seeing in the theater was "HELP." My grandfather took me and my aunt. It came out, I think, in '65. I would have been six years old.

The first one I can recall was at a Drive-In Movie in 1984 ... I saw The Last Starfighter. Never saw the end, as I fell asleep ;D
Over 20 years later, I still haven't seen that whole movie

I still can't watch that scene! LOL!!
I even remember the theater...The Lane. It was an old time movie house with a balcony, red velvet chairs and curtain. The ceiling was painted with stars and planets. I bet Kkay ans CeeKay will remember this place too.

Thanks for reminding me, back in the last years of my primary school, it must had been 1967 to 1969, I remember that my school had a trip to see Fantasia at the cinema, but I did not go that day for I was unwell and was at home unable to attend.
