I wish there was a place on this board where we could share our writing and give eachother constructive criticism. I know there is a parody place but I would like there to be one for poetry and/or songs.
Does anyone feel the same way?

It's a nice idea. I used to write poetry. I don't do it so much these days.
I suppose it depends on the demand for it, Null and Void.

I'd support this! I used to write often (and still write occasionally, just not nearly as much as I used to), and I wouldn't mind some feedback on all my writing (ranging from the self-explanatory to the obscure to the intense to the goofy).

This is a good idea. I have written poety but haven't lately. I need to be inspired to write it and my muse has been asleep for some time now. That could be a good thing because I don't exactly write the BEST poety. :-\

Its a luvly idea :) It might not fit Chuckies theme for this board - but ya never know. We could always set up an ezboard and meet up over there. I have set up about 9 of them and they are pretty user friendly.
You will have to come up with a fabulous name for it !! Thats my nontalent - all I came up with was "Creative Minds". Boring !!

If you want, I can always setup a section for something like that. I generally don't like to setup new sections unless I know they'll be used.

Didn't Apricot once start a thread about this subject? I have posted there myself.

That would be great IMO. Maybe you could start by moving Apricots thread to that section.

Not much, Henk. I mean, the two-toed sloth is a pretty tough act to follow. They sleep 18 hours a day!! They give birth hanging from a tree branch!
