I was wondering what everyone's blood type is;I think we've gotten some new members since the old board.Anyway,mine is AB+,one of the rarer types.What about you?Cheers! 8) 8)

O Positive.....don't know much about it, but I think it's compatible to most other blood types.

Near-enough the same as you, Marian...AB (not sure whether there's a 'positive' attached to it...), rather odd as most of the family is O (barring my mother...)
I couldn't say if it's amazingly rare, but I do tend to get pounced on rather sharpish when I donate...
And, by crikey, midges and mosquitos can't get enough of the stuff...! I always take extreme caution in the summer, but if I forget to protect myself...bite city!!

I'm A+ as is my husband. His mother has about the rarest group i think, she's AB-

My husband also has type AB+ ....so I don't think it's too rare.
My blood type is A+ :)

I think about 4% of humans have AB blood in either form,so it's not too common,either.Cheers!

I remember in my 9th grade Home Ec class the teacher was asking everybody what their blood type was. Everyone one else was A or B or AB, so when I said O Positive they all looked at me like I had AIDS or something.

I found this chart of US blood types for those of you who are curious.
O Rh-positive --- 38 percent
O Rh-negative --- 7 percent
A Rh-positive --- 34 percent
A Rh-negative --- 6 percent
B Rh-positive --- 9 percent
B Rh-negative --- 2 percent
AB Rh-positive --- 3 percent
AB Rh-negative --- 1 percent

I found out my sister has O positive.so all my immediate family has a different blood type!My mother has A positive,my father has B positive,and i have AB positive.John F.Kennedy and marilyn Monroe both had the same type as me,in case you're wondering.Cheers!
