Did you miss me?  ;)

Had a great time. I am now a bit more tan then I was two weeks ago. But my legs were the main course at a misqueto all-you-can-eat fest.  >:(  What can I say, they love me. We spent much of the time shopping for my sister-in-law's new condo. Got to go to the beach two times. One time, a storm the day before brought in a handful of Portugese man-of-wars. There were pretty but deadly. I couldn't believe some of the guys there were just plucking them out of the water. Wouldn't catch me doing that. We went to one of the casinos, where, naturally, I lost my butt. We also went to see a cave that was kind of cool. We wanted to go to the caverns but it was close that day. Got to see some family. We did run into one of Carlos' aunts at the casino. (He wasn't with us but we saw her a few days earlier). We also played poker almost ever night with my father-in-law (he LOVES poker so everytime we see him, that is what we do).

We were having "news-withdrawals" since the condo didn't have a t.v.YET-we finally got one on Monday to find out what was going on in the world.

So now it is time to get back into the real world. The cats have been all over us (they missed us). We have two weeks of papers, mail, e-mail, etc. to catch up on. It will take me about two weeks to do that.  I haven't got the pics delevoped yet but I will post some when I do.

So that just about sums up "What I did on my summer vacation." As Dorothy once said, "There is no place like home."  ;) ;D

Welcome back, Cat!  I'm glad to hear that you had a good time on your trip!

BTW, we get those Portuguese Man-of-wars here, too.  They're seasonal, and there are always signs posted at the beaches when they're here....but many people are foolish and go out in the water anyway!  ::)
