Not wishing to pull the thread so rapidly downward into 'smut' territory so soon, but (and this is the gospel truth, I tell you...) many years ago back in the late 40s/early 50s, there was a singer going by the name of...

D*ck Beavers (fnar! fnar!)

...I don't think it was meant as a joke either - it was probably all very innocent at the time...

And whilst I remember, there was also a third-rate footballer with a first-rate name...Richard Head...!! ('Who's that d*ckhead in midfield?!!')

There was a guy who worked at the local middle school who's name was Harry D!ck. He was a teacher and I'm sure he got a lot of flak for it.

I take it you watch "The Simpsons" a lot, because some of those were from Bart's crank calls to Moe's Tavern.

Jaytee: I was just going to say Robin Banks! On one radio station here in so-Cal, there's a traffic reporter by that name! Every time I hear it I think, "You're under arrest!" ;D

Anita Bath

I remember that one from the "Simpsons" episode where the teachers went on strike, and Moe was one of Bart's choices for a substitute. After Moe read that name, everybody cracked up, then he said "Maya Butreeks." Then he got angry and ran out of the classroom crying, whereupon Bart crossed Moe's name off the list.

In my high school yearbook they had a bunch of  pics with very strange (joke) names. Twins (actually it was the same pic of one girl) named Ima Nass and Ura Nass. Another named I.M. Hungwell. A third one named Barb Wire.
