Star Trek security officers. If you have never appeared in the programme before and suddenly Captain Kirk asks you to join a landing party, make an excuse. Under no circumstances should you beam down to the planet surface, as you will invariably be killed.

On the other hand, Quirk will fight a salivery monster twice his size and strength, will win, make a nauseatingly patriotic speech, and then make love to a 'beautiful' (yet strangely pastel coloured) alien woman who just happens to have all the dimensions of a model from 1960's earth :o

i like that joke about a battle between star trek red shirts and star wars stormtroopers...the stormtroopers couldn't hit a thing and the red shirts kept dying anyway..
