Today is finally winding down! I have been watching ESPN Classic all day...they did a Colorado Sports theme! They started with the Colorado Avalanche beating the defending champion New Jersey Devils in game 7 of the 2001 Finals from Denver. Next it was the Nuggets @ Houston...Akeem scored 52 points but Denver won. Then they showed the Broncos history, including highlights of Super Bowls 32 & 33..then they finished up with John Elways daughter introducing him for his induction into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame :)

Quest For Cooperstown with Randy & Jason Skylar (Cheap seats) on ESPN Classic....it focuses on Former Cardinal Jose Oquendo who played ALL 9 positions in his career as a utility man....he even struck out Brave Deon Sanders!

Right now I'm watching idiot news reporters in Florida, standing out in hurricane force winds telling us it's windy and raining, while debris flies by their heads and they're getting blown off their feet. And they're telling everyone, "it's very dangerous out here, so stay inside"??? ::) DUH!!

I'm toggling over the CBS scoreboard where I see Notre Dame getting ambushed in Provo, Utah against the Morons Mormons (actually Cougars) of BYU. It's not fun watching a bunch of white guys outmatching a multi-cultural team like the "Fighting" Irish. ::)

I've just finished watching the last episode of "Pride And Prejudice" with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. I LOVE it. I could watch it again and again.
I won't let my girlfriend know that. She really fancies Colin Firth. She went crazy watching Marti Pellow (lead vocalist from Wet Wet Wet) performing on telly so I dread to think what she will be like with Colin on the box.

MTV2 ...Celebrity Deathmatch & later Beavis & Butt-Head :D 8)
And watching more of that cheap public domain DVD "Classic Cartoons Vol 1 & 2"... some decent selection like Superman, Betty Boop, '30's Popeye (4 Black & Whites & the classic "Popeye meets Sinbad", the disc mostly have 'Famous Studios' Popeye), Woody Woodpecker "Pantry Panic (The only Woody cartoon that's Public Domain), and a few other cartoons I can tolerate. And thanfully, "Cobweb Hotel" is in it...though listed as a "Casper" cartoon. Though most doesn't have original titles & have end credits cut off. Not to mention mediocre sound & poor/fair picture quality. May not be the "Looney Tunes Golden Collection" or "Disney Treasures" set, but it's worth it when nothing's on tv.
...And the usual music video DVDs I sometimes mention :D
Unfortunately, don't have VH1 Classic nor Boomerang. :P

That's a shame. I am currently recording pop videos from VH1 classics at the moment (I've got about 50/60 80s videos at last count). Get yourself on Kazaa/WinMX/Bearshare one of these days and you can download them (say that your name is Woops so that I can identify you).

I just finished watching Marc Bolan and T. Rex's "Born to Boogie". I fianlly got to watch it after waiting for weeks for it to arrive! I am so glad I bought it now! It is probably the singlemost strangest thing I have ever seen, but then again, I still love it, because I finally got to see Marc in action, not just from pictures... :)

Two cheap, and great, "Josie & The Pussycats" video tapes I found at a bargain store 8) Better than most cartoons today. 8) :D
And another cheesy Public Domain tape (2 dvds for 5 bucks), worse than the other, but had some good cartoons witH Bugs Bunny & Daffy Duck. Though the Porky Pig cartoons were badly colorized. :P Some weren't on the "Looney Tunes Golden Collection"...yet.

Quite easily done with a DVD recorder. Of course, you will only get the quality of the initial video but it's all good.
DVD recorders are coming down in price all the time, Mark.

Some scenes were plain dumb & the animation reminds me of those cartoons from the '30's...
(Think "Tattertown" or "Ren & Stimpy"...minus the laughs & more UPA inspired)
I wonder if a robot (ie Bender from "Futurama") might be one of the cast of any future instalments of "Drawn Together" :D
