I never realized they were still together. Wasn't Shentall the guy out of about ten thousand who never had to audition for Hear*Say because they knew him already, leaving the other fans disappointed that they had travelled all that distance to audition? You learn something new every day.
*absolves self* *takes huge gulp* Not that I.. know that kind of thing..!
On the plus side, I guess they're still together!

What does the apostrophe in Hear'Say stand for anyway? The purpose of an apostrophe is to show where letters have been omitted or to convert a noun into a possessive adjective. No letter has been missed out of "hearsay" for the apostrophe to mean anything by being there.
It's a conspiracy, I swear. The government is spreading illiteracy among the young through the media (which, by the way, is a plural noun) so the children won't overthrow the government.
*Gasp* IT'S LIKE FAHRENHEIT 451!!! Damn those New Labour fools.

I couldn't say for sure, @ssKicker, but one of the sagas in their early career (or what there was of it), was that they were going to be sued by another band named Hearsay. I can't remember if the differentiating apostrophe came before or after the fracas.
Sadly, they weren't sued.. :(
