More to follow if I missed one.

All I want is an affordable Doctor who won't put me in the poorhouse like I am right now trying to pay off those bills. I was quoted one price last week and it went up 30% this week when I had to pay the bill.

That would depend on how I'm feeling  ;)

Seriously though, a thorough check-up is always a good thing.

Yep! I went for the thorough check-up as well.

I went for the 'two aspirin' option, because on my rare visits to the surgery, that's basically what I get...

Other than that, I'd like a doc who's in his surgery when my appointment's due...not one who comes sneaking in half a day later...

I wish that I could vote for two because I would want a doc to give me a complete checkup at an affordable rate.

A doctor who gives you a thorough check-up. The affordable part I would have to take up with my insurance co.

I would like to have a thorough check-up, but most of the doctors in this state want you to give them a detailed explanation of your symptoms. Isn't that why they call them "doctors"? :-\\

Sorry, Cat, that's not how real life works. Take some stock in insurance. ;)

I want an affordable doctor who can give me thorough checkups. It's unfortunate that this isn't a packaged deal.

I'm going for the nurse, I tend to find nurses give better care and have a better handle on what's
going on.  They listen, give information, and do not have the arrogance to think that you cannot
possibly understand what they are doing and why.

A doctor who gives you a thorough check up.  I had a problem with a doctor that I was going to.  I kept getting sick all the time, usually an abdominal thing where I couldn't keep food down, was sometimes getting pains in my side, but wasn't usually running a fever.  The doctor, apparently thinking that I was a hypochondriac, would take my temp and pulse, look at my ears and throat and tell me that I had a virus.  One day, while at work, I start getting SHARP pains and ended up going to the emergency room.  It turned out that my gallbladder was so diseased that if I had waited just a few more days, it would've ended up killing me.  Needless to say, I changed doctors after that.

My dedicated legion of doctors has always been thorough, so I guess I'd have to choose the affordable option. Between prescription costs (FEH on those evil drug companies), insurance premiums (double FEH), and co-pays, the medical community makes a mint from me!
