Fair and ethical. Better still, have one in the family. Much  cheaper. :)

Fair and Ethical...yes they DO exist....the ones who prosecuted the jerks that killed my son were the best lawyers I will ever know....by contrast the "Defense" attorney for the shooter was one of the worst Lawyer/Person...I ever knew >:(

Oh. my. God.  I....never realized.  I'm sorry to hear that, and at least the killers were brought to justice.  My heart is with you.

A family member can't legally represent you in a court of law but they can certainly give you advice. :D

I want a liar...errr uh... lawyer who will do anything  to win the case. No one is going to pat you on the back for being ethical, and once a judgement is made, no one will care. The sad reality of our legal system is not perfect and it just so happens to be that a great presentation has more impact than the subtle truth. I would still be as ethical as possible, but chances are the other side will attempt to play a dirty hand and I would be forced to respond with the same.

I don't care about ethics, the idea would be to stay out of jail. lol.

If it's a civil case, you wouldn't got to jail, El Duderino. ???

Fair 'n' Ethical...

(...the urge to pick 'I hate lawyers' was overwhelming, but I thought I'd better give the poor, impoverished darlings a chance...!!)

Speaking of which...is there any such thing as 'an affordable lawyer'?!

Probably only if you're on Legal Aid...!!

Fair and ethical...and I'm lucky enough to be a paralegal for an civil attorney that is fair and ethical.

I voted for a lawyer who will examine my case thoroughly. I agree with fair and ethical, but that also doesn't guarantee a case examined thoroughly.

I said fair and ethical. Affordable is also nice.

You know the difference between a dead skunk in the middle of the road and a dead lawyer? There are skid marks in front of the skunk.  :D ;D ;D

I said shyster!  I just hope with all the guano that we've been put through we can get a few bucks on top of my wifes medical bills.  At first we just wanted our hospital bills paid.  Now since we have been on the brink of divorce, essentially since the accident, I think we deserve some extra compensation for, marriage counselor, psycologist, my drop in grades, working 2 jobs and being a full time student, and all the hassle we have had because my wife wasn't working and we have gotten behind in our bills.  It is really amazing how a synovial joint fracture, humerofibular can turn your life upside down.
God lyk!

Thanks for allowing this mini-catharsis!
