The little 'getaway' was very nice except for the fact that both my husband and I have colds that we caught from our son just before we left. The 2 1/2 days went by very fast...could've used a couple more to catch up on my rest! :D

I know in the rare chance we (the little woman and I) get to get away w/out the kiddos we usually end up watching a movie in peace or eating dinner in peace or taking a nap in peace and before we know it our chance to get away is... well... gone. :o

I know exactly what you mean about 'couple time' slipping away too quickly. We did have a very nice time together, AND we got to do some driving around and checking out the sights. It was so nice not being interrupted every five minutes by screaming kids!!! :)
