Well folks, after having been out of "regular work" since June of 2003, I just received (and accepted) a nice job offer. :)
I didn't even apply for a job there. They called ME up and asked if I would like to talk to them (we have some common friends) and I said yes.
Best part is, it is at a company that is located only 2 miles from where I grew up in Pittsburgh. 8) For the past 20 years I've been in the midwestern USA.
In between I have been doing some consulting for a company on the side, but this will be much better and steadier bux.
I start December 1st. :P

Well, nobody ever accused me of sloth, and financially I was OK during those months. But the worst part was when somebody would ask me "what do you do?" then the judgements, perceived or otherwise, would kick in...
