Thanks Guys!  The latest is of my Sun Conure (Connor). She is actually female but for many years I thought she was male because of her bright colors until she decided to lay a couple of eggs.   ???  Changing her name just doesn't seem right.  She is sweet -  well, to me at least.   :)

I also like the one you have now. :) I used to have a picture of dolphins playing in the water, but that pic was big for the space, so it appeared with scrollbars on it. Maria shrank it for me, but at times the picture was showing up as a little white box with a red X in it (I hate that), so I took it off. I still have the URL bookmarked so I can put it back if I want.

That was John Goodman from "The Big Lebowski." (Haven't you seen it? If not, rent it, it's hilarious!)

I changed my avatar because last night when I was at the bar they were showing some World Rally Championship race on the Speed Channel, and after several beers I was leaning back and forth in the barstool with the cars as they turned, and just having a good old time. Not to mention that I had also just went on a drunken ride through the woods on the back of an ATV (full story in Feel Any Way, News Of Any Form thread) so my adrenaline was already up.

Rally cars have spoiled me. After watching some WRC racing, to me watching NASCAR is like watching paint dry. There's not too many things in this world that really get me off, but rally cars are definitely one of them.

I've never seen The Big Lebowski, I'll rent it one day.  I have a friend that's always telling me about the Speed Channel, I'll have to watch that one day too.  As for NASCAR, I've always thought that watching it is like watching paint dry.  Besides, I'm from California, we don't care for NASCAR too much out there.  I have yet to ride on an ATV, now that would be awesome!

There's a lot of folks that don't HAVE an avatar - I suppose they don't count.
Other than that, I must say I never liked Kyle's ones.

A lack of avatar creeps me out, to be honest.. that's why I don't like Guests... they're just so faceless.

In all honesty, I never liked Kyle's either.. he had bad taste in females, I must say.. and then he got the "Git-Er-Done!" "avater", which was actually worse...

I don't like some of the preset avatars.. that Blue Moose thing "cs" has creeps me out, and a lot of newbies seem to use that one... Alcoholica's Bloody Face one he had a while back, I didn't like. Robocop's sucked, except the last one, which was actually pretty cool. In all honesty, I don't like the Yahoo Messenger icons all the women seem to have {Jessica, ktelqueen, CeramicsFanatic, etc.} either, probably because there are so many.


Oh, and orange is your national color? Nice. It works for you, for some reason.. maybe it's BECAUSE of your nationality. Either way, it works for you.

I'm personally getting bored of the "South Park" avatars I use. It seems every board I go on (including this one) quite a few people have it. It just isn't original enough.  :-\\
