Subject: (New List) "VH1 40 Most Awesomely Bad #1 Songs"
Written By: woops on 12/30/04 at 9:02 pm
Though most (nearly all) VH1 lists are dumb, this is worth checking...mostly from the '80's & '90's ...and a couple actually like or considered classics by most people.
Based on songs that were #1 on some Billboard chart (Singles, I think).
Not to mention a couple great classics listed (I posted my opinion about the list on the '80's forums). :P
Though this list mostly covers the 1980's to the present.

What song(s) do you agree or disagree with?
BTW, on the show...the list was ranked the other way around: Puff Daddy being at #40 and "Macarena" being
#1... ::) :P
Though I most songs on the list deserves the #1 spot, except for a couple.
And "Blame It On The Rain" was from Milli Vanilli...

I helped make these #1 Hits :)
Celebration Kool & The Gang, Good Vibrations Marky Mark, Believe Cher, I'm Too Sexy Right Said Fred,
It Wasn't Me Shaggy, All 4 Love Color Me Badd, Wild, Wild West Escape Club, Hello Lionel Richie
so, of course don't think they belong on the bad list!
These weren't all too bad at the time when they were # 1
Macarena Los Del Rio Ice Ice Baby Vanilla Ice
That's What Friends Are For Dionne Warwick Physical Olivia Newton-John
Eye of the Tiger Survivor Kokomo The Beach Boys The Sign Ace of Base I Want to Know What Love Is Foreigner
More Than Words Extreme Rock Me Amadeus Falco Abracadabra Steve Miller Together Forever Rick Astley Maneater Hall & Oates
The others probably belong on the Bad List. My daughter would make Celebration the #1, #1 Bad song :)
