Huge Baseball fan. Hockey is a close second buy I've lost a good amount of interest since moving to the south. :(

Alright Bobby, we've had this talk before....."Professional Wrestling" is not a real sport....therefore an oxymoron :D ;)

I chose American Football, Soccer, Basketball (Although "Baseketball" was a fun little movie), Baseball, golf and I'd add Tennis and my favorite.....Running ;)

I guess if you don't wanna call it a sport then it can be an Art Form.. there is a certian amount of Choreography involved.

I like listening to cricket (Test Match Special on the radio) and taking part in orienteering.

Football...the proper football...i.e., the type of football that is predominantly played with the foot...

I don't mind a bit of cricket if there's a cracker of a game on...

And, of course, indoor hang-gliding...!!

I forgot volleyball...I had fun playing it last summer.

And soccer...at least the "table" version where you move the guys around with knobs.

Maybe Professional Wrestling isn't a sport, but it is athleticism none the less.

It's the greatest mixture of theatre and athleticism that ever existed.

As I said earlier in this thread, baseball is one of my all-time favorite sports. ;) I've enjoyed it since I was little, and have been collecting baseball cards since I was 7. I enjoy watching the postseason every October.

Too Too True...

However College wrestling in my opinion is just as exciting for exactly the opposite reasons.. anything could happen, whereas when you watch Pro-Wrestling.. as long as you have half a bran you can usually guess what's gonna happen.

Although it would probably appear that my favorite sport is football, i actually like cross crountry. Football is my favorite sport to watch, but I had to go with cross country since I'm on my high school's team.

Do you watch much College Wrestling?  I'm a huge fan myself. I go to all the home meets of my college and so far this year I've been to Iowa State Vs Minnesota and Iowa Vs Virginia Tech.

My Dad and I are going to the NCAA Division I Championships in March as well.

We don't tend to get much on over here but when we do i often watch it.

I have competed in two freestyle competitions. I haven't really had much training i was just instructed by my Martial Arts instructor.. in the first competition i was eliminated in the first round but in the second competition i entered i managed to go through to the final 8 which IMO was a big big achievment because on guy i beat had actually been properly trained.

However, ever since i ripped my Knee ligament i haven't tried anything like that. :(

My favourite sport is Rugby Union - I find it hard to understand how anyone can fail to see that this is the most fantastic sport ever played.

I used to play myself, not to a particularly high standard but I used to love playing and hated watching others play.
I was forced to retire from playing about 10 years ago due to a knee injury but now I love watching, both on TV and taking my children to watch our local team, Sale Sharks.
There's a surprising number of young girls in the crowd but  people are usually surprised to hear how knowledgeable my daughters (aged 8 and 10) are during the match.
Some young men sat behind us at the last game couldn't believe it when my demure looking 8 year old shouted "knock on, referee!" - a proud moment for me.

My daughters are also big fans, like me, of some of the Sale Sharks players:

Sebastien Chabal - a folk hero around these parts, he's just awesome.

Jason Robinson - known as Billy Whizz, a nickname my daughters love to scream at the top of their voices "Give it to Billy Whizz!".
