KDLD "Indie"103. Orange County CALIFORNIA'S "Independent" Station.  They play all the alternative--and hard to pin down tunes no one else has the guts to play in heavy rotation such as the Killers, Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, Marley and the Wailers, Damed, Cult, Cure,  and some of the cool 80s too like X and the Pixies and Elastica...tho' they weren't 80s i know.
They've got Jonesy?? of the Pistols as a dj too.  and the original Ms. Nina Blackwood on weekends doing an 80's show.
Oh, but I also love classic Rock channels from Los Angeles.

In Georgia I listen to mostly sports and news talk.  If I listen to music, it's "The Buzz" which plays modern alternative rock.

In Orlando (FL) I listen to WTKS which is also talk radio but non-news type talk.  Monsters of the Morning, The Philips Phile and until recently, The Drew Show.

In New York (on Long Island) I listen to WBLI.  Regular top 40 stuff.

I dont listen to radio that much due to crap being played on it thanks to Clear Channel, but when I do listen to it its:

Q104.3 -Classic Rock
WCBS FM 101.1 -Oldies from the 50s to the early 90s
K-Rock 92.3- Mostly Modern rock (so a lot of crap is played in between good songs), but they also play some older stuff sometimes on shows like Reserection lunch

oh, and I shouldnt forget to mentionthe excellent Little Stevens Underground Garage show on Q104.3.  Thats the highlight of the station

Oak 170 FM plays a good mix of 'retro' and chart stuff.  Just listened to Love Shack - B52's on the way in to work.

Also BBC Radio 5 for news and sport and BBC Radio 4 for the cricket.  Can't concentrate on the Today programme or their 6.30 comedy shows any more with the children around.

I used to get that on Q107 from Toronto until a local start up station took 107 on the dial.

my favorite station is called Music Power 104....out of Connellsville, Pa. ....it's the only station around that plays songs that no other station plays.....i mean you can hear anything from Quiet Riot....to Jeffrey Osbourne....they play a LOT from the 70's to 80's....and it's more than your typical Madonna or George Michael..etc...it ROCKS!
