For a while on this new board, I had the most posts, until late September/early October, when Mark (RockandRollfan) was rapidly catching up to me (we each had about 9,000 posts at the time). I have been in second place ever since then, and now Maria (ktelqueen) is not far behind me.

I come here just about every day. This month it'll be a year since I became a registered member (on the old messageboard, that is).

I try to not be on here too much, but I do whenever I get a free chance to myself.

I only binge-post (or post-whore) in the PBG on occasion, or if someone else is posting in there at the time. Usually I only post around 4-5 posts in there every 2 days or so.

And I very rarely visit the Before 70s, 70s, 80s & 90s boards as they a full of crap like: "What Is The Best Song Of 19__" or "Is 1987 more like 1932 or 2012?" etc. They get rather old.  :P

The Politics board is quite a good read/laugh. Especially the MaxSmart and GWBush shenanigans that happens every now and then.  ;D (For those who aren't familiar... GWBush2004 = very conservative, Max = very liberal)

Karaoke Queen's account disappeared not too long ago; Robocop was a pest; he re-registered and deleted his account several times and eventually got banned permanently a couple weeks ago. I never cared for him either. ::)

I'm celebrating my one year anniversary here.

I've been thru some screen name changes...I started out as NASCARnut,I think.

I have been here for a long time.  I don't remember exactly when, though.  Always been Dagwood.

I've always been "Apricot", but I did variants on it.. like "Pirate Apricot" or "Mr. Apricot".. but always Apricot.. except a brief stint as "Pikachu".  ;D

I think I'm more in the "burst post" category too - I do tend to post alot and fairly frequently at almost every board I go to (I guess I just have alot to say!). Yet, I still basically only post if I have something slightly different or unique to add.

A fairly frequent thing all over message boards that bugs me are the "yeah" "me too" or frequent "one-sentence" posts some people do. Fair enough to do it sometimes -- if you've proven yourself to be a quality poster -- but when that's all you do, I consider it to be borderline spam.

Because I tend to be pretty talkative and outgoing, I build up fairly quickly in retrospect, but you'll notice my posts will almost always contain significant content - be it something humorous, discussion-oriented, emotional or anything like that.

A fairly frequent thing all over message boards that bugs me are the "yeah" "me too" or frequent "one-sentence" posts some people do. Fair enough to do it sometimes -- if you've proven yourself to be a quality poster --

'showing up with less frequency'..that's cracking me up since at one point i basically 'lived here'..while i was also posting while working  :-[ ::) ;D..i'm still on every day but more sporadically,you're right  ;)

You're not as sporadic as tam though... sometimes she posts like 200 times in one weekend then nothing for awhile, then all of a sudden she reappears full throttle :)

I like to think of myself as a "quality poster" but I have posted a few one-sentence post, or just a smiley to let that person know that I acknowledged their post.  I am not into "quanity" and much perfer "quality". Sometimes I just read and if I find something worth replying to or say, I do. But I don't post just to post.

So I guess that means you joined in '99...that's before I even found the amiright.com site (in April of '00)! And I found this messageboard (the old one) through that site a couple years later. Next month it'll be a year and a half that I've been a registered member. (I posted as a guest for a year, with a half-year hiatus from May '03 to November '03.)

Yeah, it was around then. I think I remember coming across it for the first time in April of 2000. Parodies came a few months later.

I remember those variant aliases. "Stallion Apricot" was another, if I'm not mistaken.

My alias hasn't always been "nally"; in fact, I didn't do any posting until that username came along. In January 2003 I saw an episode of the GSN game show "Lingo" where someone spelled that nonsense word and I thought it was kinda funny, so that's why I adopted it as my alias. I dropped it about three months later, trying to figure out something different to be known by, but came back to "nally" in August or September of that year (2003). It has always been my username since I've been a registered member.

My name was originally Dumb Ass Kid, but it kept getting filtered, so I shortened it down to just DAK. I also have been Robodak 500th and Meerkal   ;D
