Subject: What does your voice sound like?

Would you like to immortalise yourself on the messageboard by recording your own voice here? Well, here's your chance. If you haven't got a microphone, borrow one from your mate lol. Follow these steps and (hopefully) we will get to hear your voice. :D
1. Go to Start, Accessories and then Sound Recorder to record your voice via a microphone. Save it (a wav.file will do) and then, click and copy the Inthe00s address above.
2. Go to http://www.yousendit.com/ (free website) and paste the Inthe00s address into the 'Recipient's e-mail address' section.
3. Put your sound file into the 'Select file to send' section and then click on 'send it' (Don't type your e-mail address in). Wait for a short while . . .
4. Once completed, it will say 'Your file has been successfully stored' but will not be sent here. Click and copy the link underneath where it says 'Here is a link for your reference' and then paste it to your post.
There you go, job done. :)
We need a bit of a structure to help you on your way so please use this template in your post. :)

My economics teacher is from Colorado originally. He has picked up a bit of a drawl. He says back home in Colorado there is a bit of annoyance with Texans. Apparently LOTS of us vacation there. I hope our tourists aren't as bad as Japanese tourists or something. ;D

I know all those places. In fact, there's a Best Buy that's very close to our house...that's where I bought my copy of Shakira's Laundry Service album (with my gift card), some blank videotapes, and where my parents recently purchased another VCR (the old one died after only 2 1/2 years, replacing a unit that had been running for 11 years). I suppose they might have one there...if I'm lucky, I can purchase it with the gift cards I have left.
And as soon as I get it, I'll have to figure out how to hook it up to my computer.

Hook the microphone into the back of the tower, Jeff (where the CD rom/floppy disk etc is). There are sockets in the back of it. :)

I don't have a microphone on my computer, but I was able to find my voice. This is a clip taken a couple years ago when I used to work in radio. Well, it wasn't real radio. I used to work a church camp one week every summer on a college campus. It wasn't nerd Flanders church camp, it was very cool. We had a low power FM radio station that had about a 3 mile radius where you could still get good reception , we had fake commercials and we played good music too. My friend Chad and I were the morning team. The traffic reports were campers on walkie talkies reporting the breakfast line traffic and our tech guy ran the transmission through the sound board and broadcast it through the airwaves. We had counselors do stupid stunts like wear Depends for a day. The first camper to bring us breakfast every day would win a free CD, etc.
This particular clip is from "Bad Attitude Wednesday." It was all tongue in cheek and we didn't really have bad attitudes, but this clip is me going off about some technical glitch... 8)

That is easily done my friend. I record from the DVD recorder to the computer, use a programme to take the audio from it and perhaps convert it into an Mp3 (sound compression) - cool! 8)

My only problem is copyright protection of the wrestling soundclips. ChuckyG mentioned he didn't want the RIAA on his back regarding putting music on here. I wonder if this could be said of other copyright material.
