I prefer this to the XPS. It's the one I got (well at least the one I started out with, before I upgraded it a little).
So far, it has never crashed, slowed down, sputtered or even whimpered.

All I did for upgrades was to drop a 250 gig storage drive, and a slot-load standard dvd drive into it.
Oh, and mine did come with a TV Tuner card, which I didn't know how much I'd use it, but it's great. Especially,
since there is also the DVD burner, I can record my favorite cable TV shows to disc. Handy.

Get it built to the specifications you want. For playing games, you ideally need 1.5/2.0 ghtz processor and at least 512 MB RAM. :)

I will have to get a new computer after I move out of here. I might try to get a laptop. I heard Dell has a payment plan available, rather than having to pay them all at once..
