I know about the abbreviation "b/w" on 45RPM record covers indicating what song is on side 2. The thing I've always wanted to know is: What do the letters "b/w" stand for?

Sometimes you'll see it written as 'c/w'...
Doesn't mean it's a Country & Western tune, it stands for 'coupled with'...
