Yes, so everyone who wanted to ask FussBudgetVanPelt anything can ask it here.  You may not get any answers though, for he did not start this thread, I did, but whatever.  ::)

But Channel 4 does have the majority of the Ashes, maybe all of them.

This is a false question, as Sherbet were NEVER better than Skyhooks  :-*

They were a bunch of Pretty Boys  ;D

AND

What is the square root of 821 to four decimal places ?

    ;)  ;D

Glad you asked  :)

282 = 784 < 821 = a < 841 = 292

Then we will find the square root of d = 821(1/29)2 = 821/841. x = d - 1 = -20/841 = -0.0237812128. Using the series, we find that :

(821/841)1/2 =

1 - 0.0118906064
- 0.0000706933
- 0.0000008406
- 0.0000000125
- 0.000000002

= 0.9880378470

8211/2 = (0.9880378470)29

= 28.65309756

To four decimal places, 8211/2 = 28.6531

Trust me  :P :P :P

Good question DAK

From the comic strip "Peanuts".

Refer to my avatar at left, Lucy Van Pelt.  Lucy is a constantly crabby character, and in one strip she describes the condition to Charlie Brown as being that of a "FussBudget"  ;D

Hence FussBudget + VanPelt and there you it, a username that I am saddened to see that on at least one other website that requires usernames, someone else has adopted  :\'( :\'( :\'( :\'(

Ah well, such is life.  5 cents, please  ;)

It is finally getting cold GRS  :)  Tomorrow I have to go to Canberra for 3 days.  It was -5 degrees (c) there last night  :(

I think that translates to about 20 - 25 (f).

When I am used to living in 75 - 90 degree heat, it is going to be a slight shock to the system  :o :o :o :o

As for the original question :

I used to collect butterflies when i was younger

My M&D used to sing "Mud, mud, glorious Mud" to get me to sleep

I once hid inside a clothes basket for about 4 hours to escape Dad after i had done something wrong ( I think i was about 5 at the time)  ;D

Although I have given you a hard time in the past about it, hate is too strong a word Mark !  ;) I will try to explain...

Unlike many Americans (or anyone ELSE outside Australia) I have the privilege of having heard Rick’s music when he was with The Zoot.

They were a great Aussie band from the late 60’s/early 70’s.  And that stuff was FAR superior (in my limited opinion) to anything he has dished up as a solo artist.  :o

Having said that, I do have an extreme dislike for the song “Jessie’s Girl”.  >:( I find it hard to explain why, except to use the old chiche’d term “It is very commercial”.  :-\\

As for Michael Jackson, like many people, I think he is rather strange to say the least.  I quite liked his music, and still do.  The dancing stuff wasn’t exactly my scene, but I appreciated what was behind it.

As for whether he is guilty or otherwise, I don’t believe I am in any position to judge him either way, so am not quite sure what you are looking for ?  ???

It's quite alright. I've heard Zoot and agree with you. Jessie's Girl was very commercial...but I enjoy nearly all his solo stuff and having seen him in concert quite recently, he's a very talented and nice guy. He actually went into the audience and enjoyed the fans. I also saw a "Behind The Music" about him a few years ago on VH1. He's suffered from depression his whole life, has a wonderful family and is a very generous guy. Not really looking for anything...I just thought you should know about his whole story. I appreciate and respect your opinion though...and hey, we do share the same opinion of The Beatles being superior to The Stones :D ;)
