I'll admit.. I get this odd enjoyment out of looking at attractive women!  :D

But seriously, I think there are a few songs I really get a kick out of that I really shouldn't enjoy.. and I have no clue why.

I have a massive collection of comic book annuals and I also have my old wrestling figures from about 15 years ago.

My musical taste is one big guilty pleasure all on it's own.  ;D

I'm into some pretty out there bands. And I like some songs you wouldn't expect me to like. (I'm the only person I know who will listen to: a Pantera song, a Beatles song and a song by some strange Dutch band all in one go)

I used to read comic books and if you read many titles this hobby can become a bit expensive but since I also sold comic books and trading cards I would end up breaking even, I read all the Valiant titles until Jim Shooter left the company, I read all the Batman titles. Back in the 70s I read The Incredible Hulk and got into Spider-man in the late 70s early 80s, I sold this collection before joining the navy (Hulk #181 for $5  :\'( ) It seems like the amount of story that went into one comic in the 70s can be stretched into 12 issues these days, many pretty pictures and very few word balloons.

Then there is my music collection of what my mom calls noise
  :D

I actually like watching classic Looney Tunes & Disney cartoons. Which I bought some on DVDs...though Warner Bros. should've done something like "Disney Classic Cartoon Favorites" instead of "The Spotlight Collection".

Music... nothing I can think of... Maybe some pop songs from the '80's/early '90's ("Heartthrob Hits", "Pure '80's Dance" CD)

You REALLY are infatuated with that chick, aren't you?

Just a crush...atleast she's not in "The O.C."...which is a really bad show.

I'm the same way, LOL. Some people have listened to mix tapes I've made (or burned CD's in the last 2 years) and have been like, What the h*ll? ;D

I can go from "Making Love out of Nothing at all" from Air Supply to Weird Al, to Ozzy to an oldie.

As for the question at hand, hmmm, let's see:

-Beavis & Butthead
-Anything with Pauly Shore in it
-National Enquirer-type magazines
-Cop shows
-B-type 80's comedy movies
-Full House
-80's songs like "We Built this City", "Can't Fight this Feeling" and "Urgent"
-Taking tests, quizzes, and questionaires much like this one.
-Nitpicking everything to death, including (but not limited to) BTTF and pop culture.

Ahh geez, what am I talking about - everyone who knows me knows I love all this anyway. I guess it's not so "guilty" after all! :D

'Beano' and 'Dandy' annuals...

(Kiddie comic books if you're not aware...)

I've got plenty of others, but they stay locked away in my rancid little mind...!!

I have quite a few old Beezer and Topper annuals too, Paul.  ;)

It's great to see you collect those kind of comic annuals.

I was never really much into the 'Beezer' & 'Topper', but they had their moments...

As did 'Whizzer & Chips', but I drew the line at 'Cor!'...

Says it all that the 'Beano' and 'Dandy' are more or less the only ones left standing...

I loved The Fleetway Annuals (Whoopee, Whizzer and Chips, Buster . . . ) but I grew up on them.

I actually enjoyed 'Cor!' and 'Shiver and Shake' (They're going back a bit) but found it all out later after I was reading a fortnightly called 'Big Comic'.  :)

You can't go wrong with 'Dandy' and 'Beano'. Have you seen it lately though, Paul? I think it's only Desperate Dan and The Bash Street Kids in their old glory left. The other characters have all changed hands (Ballboy recently) and I'm afraid the charm is fading now.  :-\\

Yea...they've definitely changed beyond recognition - I get a bit lost on Christmas mornings nowdays...!

Sign of the times, there's no 'whacking' involved in today's comics...!

I vaguely remember 'Big Comic' - I'm sure I had a couple of those annuals (which used to hack bits and pieces out of the Fleetway publications and glue 'em all together), but they've probably gone missing...I don't recall seeing 'em of late...

I think Fleetway went bust, Paul. 'Whoopee' went first (joined with Whizzer and Chips), then Whizzer and Chips folded up a few years later and then, lastly, Buster made his last farewell in 1999 I believe - a truly sad state of affairs.

The Big Comic started around 1988 and, yes, was basically a mix of all these type of annuals (including 'Shiver and Shake','Cor!','Monster Fun' and the Fleetway regulars). The big problem was that these strips were pretty old and the world has moved on since then.

No, I know that Fleetway went under - I was just saying that I haven't seen my 'Big Comics' for a while...probably junked in a previous house move, such is life...

But that was the appeal...!

Oh! Your comics! I have comics dated back from 1988 but they are tatty. However, they are my priceless memories.  :)

To us, yes but to a younger reader, perhaps not.  :-\\
